NBA labor negotiations weren’t the sexiest topic, but hoops fans who feared they would lose the entire 2011-12 campaign wanted to stay on top of the news and hold onto that sliver of hope that the season would be saved. It was, of course, with Commissioner David Stern and Union Director Billy Hunter agreeing to a deal in late November that allowed for the Christmas Day start. All’s well that ended well, even for those fans who never wanted to see LeBron James and his hated Heat win it all.
