I have to ask this question. I came across your name and wondered if you might be related to Bob Amick. Bob got me my start in the restaurant business in Atlanta in the 70’s, the Peasant Group. Bob and Rowena were good friends of mine. I came across your name online and thought that you must be related to them. We both sport a rather unusual name.
Gary, I agree it’s a rare name – and ironically that was my father’s name – but he wasn’t from Atlanta or ever in the restaurant biz (nor do I know Rowena:)
